Editorial and corrections policy
These standards apply to every article, headline, image and feed item published by BitcoinsInvestments.com.
Bylines and accountability
Every story is attributed to a named journalist with a public biography and a contact route. We do not publish under pseudonyms or generic staff bylines. Editors are accountable for the accuracy of the stories they sign off.
Sourcing and verification
- Factual claims are sourced to documents, data or identified people.
- Anonymity is granted only where a source faces a concrete risk, and the reason is stated in the article.
- Market data, filings and on-chain figures are attributed to their source and dated.
- Anyone criticised in a story is given a reasonable opportunity to respond before publication.
Independence and conflicts of interest
Advertising and sponsorship are handled by a separate team and never influence coverage. Sponsored content is labelled as such and excluded from our news feeds and news sitemap. Contributors must disclose holdings in any asset they write about, and may not trade an asset in the 72 hours around publication of a story about it.
Use of automated tools
Automated tools may assist with transcription, data processing and copy checks. No article is published without a human journalist reporting, verifying and editing it, and the named author is fully responsible for its content.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we fix it promptly and say so. Substantive corrections are appended to the article with the date and a description of what changed, and the article's modification timestamp is updated in our feeds and structured data. Typos and formatting fixes are made silently. Articles are not quietly deleted; where a story must be withdrawn, we replace it with an explanatory note.

No investment advice
BitcoinsInvestments.com publishes journalism, not financial advice. We do not recommend assets, manage money, or accept payment to cover or omit any project.
